1. Who you are buying from
Products ordered on latingin.com are sold by Sélection Prestige GmbH, trading as Direct Drinks Distribution, Pariser Str. 3, 10719 Berlin, Germany ("the Seller", "we", "us"). The Seller is the contracting party for every order, collects payment, ships your order and handles VAT, excise duty and all licensing obligations for the sale of alcohol.
The website latingin.com is operated by Latin Gin LLC, the brand owner, which presents the products and provides customer service on the Seller's behalf. Latin Gin LLC is not a party to the sales contract. Full company details are in our legal notice.

2. Scope
These terms apply to all orders placed on latingin.com, in the version valid when you place your order. They apply to consumers and, with the additions in section 14, to business customers. Different terms of a customer do not apply unless we agree to them in writing.
3. Age requirement
We sell alcohol only to adults. By ordering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and of legal drinking age in the delivery country. We may verify your age at any time, including by asking the carrier to check photo ID on delivery. Parcels are handed over only to an adult. We may decline or cancel an order where age cannot be confirmed.
4. How the contract is formed
The products on our website are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. When you click the order button at checkout, you make a binding offer to buy the items in your basket. The order confirmation email we send confirms that we received your order; it is not yet acceptance.
The contract is concluded when we accept your order, either by a separate acceptance email or by dispatching the goods, whichever comes first. We may decline an order within three working days, for example if an item is unavailable, a price or product description is obviously wrong, age or identity cannot be confirmed, delivery to the destination is not permitted, or the order appears to be fraudulent or intended for unauthorised resale. If we decline, any amount charged is refunded in full without delay.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT and, for deliveries within the EU, alcohol excise duty. Where a different currency is shown, the amount charged is the amount displayed at checkout. Delivery costs are shown before you place your order.

6. Promotions, discount codes and gifts
Unless stated otherwise, only one discount code can be used per order. Codes have no cash value, cannot be applied after an order is placed, and may be withdrawn at any time. Complimentary items and gifts with purchase are available while stocks last and may be replaced with an item of equal or greater value. If you withdraw from an order that qualified for a complimentary item, please return that item too, or its value may be deducted from your refund. Promotions may be limited by country where local law requires, for example the 25% cap on alcohol discounts in the Netherlands.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the countries offered at checkout. Delivery times shown on the website are estimates. If we cannot deliver within 30 days of the contract, you may cancel and receive a full refund. We may deliver in more than one parcel at no extra cost to you.
If a parcel cannot be delivered because no adult was available, the address was incorrect or the parcel was refused, we may deduct the cost of the failed delivery and its return from your refund, or charge it for redelivery. Details are in our shipping policy.
8. Retention of title
The goods remain the Seller's property until paid for in full.
9. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. How to withdraw, the model withdrawal form and the consequences of withdrawal are set out in our returns and withdrawal policy. You can also use our online withdrawal form.
10. The Love It guarantee
In addition to your legal rights, we offer a voluntary Love It guarantee. Its conditions are set out in our returns policy. It does not limit your statutory rights.
11. Faulty or damaged goods
Statutory warranty rights apply. Please check your delivery on arrival and tell us about visible transport damage, breakage or missing items as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days, with a photo. This helps us claim against the carrier; it does not affect your legal rights.
12. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, for intent and gross negligence, under product liability law and where we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may regularly rely), and only for foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any other liability for slight negligence is excluded. These limitations also apply in favour of our employees, agents and Latin Gin LLC.
13. Product information and responsible drinking
Images, serving suggestions and recipes are for illustration. Cups, glassware and packaging may differ slightly from the images. The bottle label is the definitive source for ingredients, allergens and alcohol content. Please drink responsibly. Do not drink alcohol if you are pregnant, driving or under the legal drinking age.
14. Business customers
If you order as a business (for example a bar, restaurant, hotel or retailer), the following also applies: there is no statutory right of withdrawal; the Love It guarantee does not apply; you must inspect the goods on delivery and report visible defects within 3 working days and hidden defects within 3 working days of discovery; the warranty period is 12 months from delivery, except for claims for which liability is unlimited under section 12; you are responsible for any licences needed to resell or serve alcohol; and the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
15. Website and content
All content on latingin.com, including the Latin Gin name, logos, bottle designs, images and text, belongs to Latin Gin LLC or its licensors and may not be used without permission. Latin Gin LLC may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the website, product range or promotions at any time.
16. Governing law
These terms and all contracts are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
17. Dispute resolution
Please contact us first at info@latingin.com; most issues are resolved within a few days. The Seller is willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
18. Changes and language
We may update these terms for future orders. The version valid when you ordered applies to your order. These terms are provided in several languages; if versions differ, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
